Statement on the COVID-19 Situation

At Bienestar, we are taking the risks posed by the spread of COVID-19 (the “coronavirus”) very seriously. We are following the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines for how to protect ourselves and prevent the further spread of the virus. The situation is changing by the day, and we are staying up to date with recommendations from state, local, and federal officials. We are doing everything we can to protect our residents, our staff, and our volunteers.

For more information about the virus and what you can do to stay safe and prevent the spread, please read this statement from the White House (español). Information can also be found on the Center for Disease Control website.

To our many partners, friends, and supporters: we will continue to do business as effectively as we can given the need for “social distancing.” We will take as many precautions as possible and follow all CDC and local guidelines to protect the safety and health of staff and partners.

At Bienestar, we’re doing our best to practice social distancing!

Currently, we are evaluating different strategies to support our residents as they are affected by these troubled times. For many, the situation poses a risk to not only their health, but also their housing and financial stability. The wellbeing of our community is of the highest importance to us at Bienestar, and we will do everything we can to support our families as we all navigate this crisis together.

If you would like to help us continue to provide safe, stable housing through these uncertain times, please consider making a donation to support our families.
