Bienestar Seeks Housing Development Manager

The Housing Development Manager is part of a housing team at Bienestar that includes the Asset Manager, the Executive Director, other staff members, as well as volunteers and board members on the advisory Housing Committee. The housing team works to sustain Bienestar’s portfolio of 508 affordable homes in 12 properties, ensuring their longterm physical and financial sustainability. The housing team also explores new development opportunities and works creatively with numerous partners and stakeholders to build new housing and further Bienestar’s mission. As a small CDC, Bienestar must cultivate and leverage relationships and partnerships in order to be successful. The Housing Development Manager is shares responsibility for the rehabilitation and development of affordable housing and other properties consistent with Bienestar’s mission and strategic plan. The position reports to the Executive Director.
