You like to meet with our clients one-on-one, teach group classes, and work in front of a computer entering the necessary data to report to our funders. You want to work in a team environment where your ideas matter, where social justice is the top priority and where community is being built every day.  You’re willing to work hard at a meaningful job where you can use your communications skills and creativity to make a difference in the lives of others.

Pay: $25 – $28.84 per hour DOE

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Housing Counselor is to provide comprehensive housing counseling services to families and/or individuals who need pre-purchase, post-purchase, and default prevention counseling. Duties of the Housing Counselor include coordination of all aspects of service delivery to clients; assist with mortgage modifications; deliver homebuyer education; perform budget and credit counseling; help identify affordable mortgage products; provide education about programs for financial assistance for down-payment and closing costs; and provide outreach services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
