08 Apr Announcing the Esperanza Fund!
In response to the needs of our community, Bienestar is launching the Esperanza Fund to provide emergency assistance for families affected by COVID-19.
Because of COVID-19, many in our community have been laid off or have reduced hours. When that happens, it’s hard to pay for things like groceries and rent. Bienestar’s Esperanza Fund is our answer to this challenge.
Your donation goes directly to food, rent, and other assistance for families. If you can, please consider giving to the Esperanza Fund so that our community can stay strong through this crisis.
With the help of our friends and community, we hope to raise $25,000 over the next six weeks.
Thanks to the generosity of LMC Construction, Scott | Edwards Architecture, Enterprise Community Partners, Miller Nash Graham & Dunn Law Firm, Cascadia Chapter of Credit Unions, Point West Credit Union, Ball Janik, Banner Bank, the congregation at the First Unitarian Church of Portland, and many other donors, we’re already on our way!
We hope you’ll join us in coming together as a community to support families in need!
