What are Bienestar residents saying so far?
I would recommend it, it is better to get vaccinated than being connected to tubes on a hospital bed or for ourselves, our people and our elders. Thank you😊!!
-Jessica, Sierra West
I recommend the vaccination, I am diabetic and had no problem doing it, on the contrary, I feel safer and happier for having done so, thank you.
-Gioconda, Montebello
I recommend it to save communities, it is the best for everyone, thank you.
-Marisela, Juniper Gardens
Yes, because it is very important for everyone to be vaccinated to be more protected.
-Gloria, Cornelius Park
What’s the most common reason Bienestar residents have gotten the vaccine? To protect themselves and their families. 💙💚💜
The three most common side effects? Head Pain. Arm Soreness. Fatigue.
Sandra from Sunset Gardens shared her side effects:
“Dolor en el área donde la aplicaron en la primera vez que me la pusieron; dolor de cabeza, hormigueo, hinchazón y enrojecimiento en la aplicación de la segunda dosis durante el primer día solamente después de la aplicación. Realmente nada grave ni algo que no se pueda tolerar.”
Some of you report no side effects and a low number report symptoms of fever and chills.
If you haven’t gotten the vaccine yet, plan on taking it easy on vaccine day, if possible. Ask a family member for help. Catch up on sleep. Let your employer know you are getting the shot. And, you can still take the survey and let us know if you need help. Stay informed on all COVID-19 info: Read our updated FAQ by clicking here
