About Bienestar’s Community Services Program
At Bienestar, we know that thriving communities start with strong support systems. Our Community Services program is designed to help Bienestar’s resident families meet their needs and build long-term stability. Through direct assistance, skill-building opportunities, community building events and leadership development, we empower and guide our residents as they build the bright futures they dream of.
Promotores Program
Our Promotores program empowers resident leaders to be the voice of their communities. Each of the 14 Bienestar property has at least one Promotor—a trained resident leader who helps identify community needs, implement solutions, and ensure Bienestar remains accountable to the people we serve. Promotores play a vital role in strengthening connections, advocating for resources, and creating a culture of support and empowerment.
Beyond meeting immediate needs, the Community Services team and Promotores partner to help families gain the skills and resources necessary for long-term success through programs centered around:
- Financial Literacy
- Nutrition Education
- Access to Healthy Recreation
- Emergency Preparedness
- Youth Enrichment
