22 Jun Summer is Here!

Summer is officially here! There are so many ways for you and your entire family to enjoy the weather and the season’s many activities in Washington County! While it’s always important to remain safe and healthy, there is more to life than COVID. Here are a few things happening: 

🍎The Outpost is a FREE drop-in lunch and activity program at Shute Park, Shadywood Park, and McKinney Park happening from June 22 – August 19. The summer theme is OLYMPIANS! Click here for more information or call the Hillsboro Parks and Recreation department at 503-681-6120.

💃🎶Concerts in the Park: In July and August, Thursday nights will bring music, dancing and fun to Amberglen and Shute Parks in Hillsboro!

🎡🎉🎈The Washington County Fair is back this year! July 23 – August 1 –  join in the fun at the Westside Commons in Hillsboro! Free Admission!

🌲🌿🐞Take Nature Walks at one of the many parks in WA County, such as Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove or Cooper Mountain Nature Park at the edge of Beaverton. Discover, or re-discover, the special trails and nature all around us!
