No later than March 29, agricultural and seafood workers, migrant and seasonal farmworker food processing workers, and <\/strong>those over<\/strong> 45 with one or more underlying health conditions,<\/strong> are among those who will be eligible for vaccination in Oregon. Please keep in mind that once you are eligible, it will still take time to get vaccinated. <\/em><\/strong>

Getting an appointment has been difficult and many people in Oregon are frustrated. Oregon knows this, too, so the Oregon Health Authority is changing its setting vaccine appointment system. As of March 1, eligible seniors can sign up with OHA\u2019s vaccine notification system. Names picked at random each week will be notified when they can make an appointment. Learn more and sign up. Washington County does not have any walk-in mass clinics yet and vaccine demand still exceeds supply nationwide. Let\u2019s be patient, wear masks and continue to physically distance. We\u2019ve put in a lot of work so far! Stay up to date this spring as vaccination updates and news will come fast!

Program. Leda has been a nurse for 25 years with a concentration in migrant health and has administered the vaccine to eligible Oregonians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
