If you are in phase 1B, you are eligible now (educators and teachers) or will become eligible throughout February. <a href=\"https:\/\/vacunacovid.oregon.gov\">Find out<\/a> (English &amp; Spanish)<\/li><li><strong>Educators and teachers eligible as of January 25<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>People 80<\/strong> and older are eligible week of <strong>February 7<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>People 75<\/strong> and older are eligible week of <strong>February 14<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>People 70<\/strong> and older are eligible week of <strong>February 21<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>People 65<\/strong> and older are eligible week of <strong>February 28<\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We Know About the Vaccine:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The COVID-19 vaccine does not give you COVID-19.<\/li><li>Children younger than 16 are not yet eligible for either vaccine.<\/li><li>Severe allergic reactions to the vaccine are rare. <a href=\"https:\/\/espanol.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/safety\/allergic-reaction.html\">Learn more<\/a> (Spanish &amp; English)<\/li><li>Side effects include a few days of muscle aches, chills and headache with potential mild fever after a second dose.<\/li><li>There is no cost for the vaccine. If providers charge an administration fee, it can be reimbursed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What we do not know yet:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Vaccine eligibility dates for essential workers, those younger than 65, those of all ages with underlying health conditions or the general population.<\/li><li>Experts do not know if the vaccine prevents you from spreading the virus &#8211; keep wearing a mask and physically distance.<\/li><li>Specific locations on where and when to get vaccinated&nbsp;<\/li><li>Get more information about vaccine distribution in Washington County. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.co.washington.or.us\/HHS\/CommunicableDiseases\/COVID-19\/vaccine.cfm\">Learn More<\/a>.
