Celebrating at the 125th Anniversary Gala at the Portland Art Museum<\/p><\/div>\n

On September 23, 2017 award-winning musician Esperanza Spalding performed at the Portland Art Museum’s 125th Gala Celebration, and her music was inspired by four of Bienestar’s amazing Promotoras–Hilda Perez, Beatriz Osuna, Agustina Garcia, and Bertha Gomez. One of her songs was even entitled “Bienestar”! Thanks also to photographer Holly Andres for the beautiful portraits she made of the Promotoras. Holly and Esperanza’s support of Bienestar inspires us and helps move\u00a0us forward.<\/p>\n
